The Moscow Regional Court dismissed the administrative case against Olga Savina, a participant in the June protests in Likino-Dulyovo. Savina herself reported this to OVD-Info.
According to her, in October the Orekhovo-Zuyevsky District Court found her guilty under the article on the organization of blocking the road (part 1 of article 20.2.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). She found out about this by accident, since all summonses and notifications went to the address of her previous place of residence.
“When I found out that they had brought the summons, I specially went to the post office at the old address. I was given a summons, I called the court, and in court they already told me that a decision had been made, I was fined. For me, it was just a shock, ”says Savina.
The activist herself was not at the appeal meeting, however, as she assumes, the case was dismissed due to the fact that she could not know about the court of first instance.
The protocols for Savina were drawn up in September. Then a major of the criminal investigation department in civilian clothes came to her house in a private car, showed her the protocols and threatened to initiate a criminal case for “insulting the police”.
