Security forces conducted a search in the case of the ENOTH Corp group not only at the home of Novaya Gazeta journalist Yulia Polukhina, but also at RAS academician Mikhail Paltsev, reports . Kommersant
According to the publication, they searched the academician’s country house and apartment, but did not detain Paltsev.
After interrogation, Polukhina was taken to the Moscow department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs at Petrovka, 38, the publication writes.
In addition, Ksenia Molokoedova, the wife of Paltsev’s adviser Andrei Molokoedov, who was involved in the PMC case, was brought to the police.
The Novaya Gazeta journalist was searched at eight o'clock this morning. As reported MBKH Media , the search was related to Polukhina’s note about ENOTH Corp., whose members are facing criminal charges on several counts, including banditry (Article 209 of the Criminal Code) and organizing a criminal community (Article 210 of the Criminal Code).
According to Kommersant , Paltsev’s subordinate is suspected of managing this PMC. So, in 2018, Paltsev wanted to sell a plot with a cottage in the Krasnodar Territory, but discovered that the border between his plot and the plot of local resident Pyotr Suponev was drawn in “violation of his interests.”
Negotiations with the neighbor did not lead to anything, and the academician complained about this to Molokoedov. He, in turn, told a journalist from “one of the federal media” about the situation, who knew members of “ENOT Corp.” The newspaper does not name the journalist; it is probably Polukhina.
The journalist introduced Molokoedov to the leader of the PMC, Roman Telenkevich, who promised to “influence” Paltsev’s neighbor.
