In Moscow on Pushkinskaya Square, police detained a participant in a single picket on the climatic theme of Konstantin Fokin. He himself told the OVD-Info about this.
Fokin laid out on the ground the banner of the “climatic crisis / - tell the truth / - act immediately” and set three posters near the monument to Pushkin. Two posters were devoted to environmental subjects, the third was written: “Article 31 should work. Moscow is no exception. " In addition, Fokin chained himself with a chain to fencing the monument.
The police explained the detention by the ban on combining several topics within the framework of one action. In addition, in their opinion, the banner lying on the ground created interference with pedestrians.
Fokin was taken to the police department in the Tver district. There he was held for more than three hours and released with protocols for delivery and detention. In addition, all posters and a chain were seized from him, which was snacked during the detention.
In the protocols, as the reason for the detention, law enforcement officers indicated that Fokin allegedly committed an offense under part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, that is, violated the rules of participation in the action. However, the protocol on the offense on it did not compile.
