Navalny was detained during a search in the FBK

The security forces came to the Moscow office of the Corruption Fund Alexei Navalny. The politician himself announced this in his account on Twitter. “The door is burst, the cameras are sealed,” said the opposition. Later, the press secretary of the organization Kira Yarmy said that the security forces detained Navalny and released the rest of the team.

UPD: Later, Navalny’s day said that he was not detained during a search in the office of the fund. “The latest news: there are no detainees. I was simply drained from the office (for some reason). <...> All objects are seized. The day is chosen, obviously, because today I should have broadcast,” he wrote on his Twitter.

Initially, the reasons for the search were not specified. Then Navalny himself wrote that their official reason was to refuse to delete the investigation “He is not Dimon to you” dedicated to Dmitry Medvedev from the YouTube channel of the Foundation YouTube channel. According to the opposition, for this reason, a criminal case was opened against the director of the FBC Ivan Zhdanov.

As the FBK project manager Leonid Volkov specified, about 40 employees were inside the office during the searches. According to him, all the actions of the security forces were synchronized: today the fund was blocked by the Sberbank card, where donations are received.

The searches also began in the studio "Navalny Live". She is in the same building as the FBK office.

According to the source of Vedomosti in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the detention of Navalny is not related to the laundering case.
