The Hydrometeorological Center warned Muscovites about the “anemorumbometric saw”

In the coming days, pressure and wind will change dramatically in Moscow, the acting head of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand suggested calling such weather an “anemorumbometric saw”. This is reported by the agency "Moscow".

“A number of meteorologists have coined the term baric saw to attract attention. I would suggest inventing a new term - anemorumbometric saw. Anemo - characterizes the speed of the wind, rumbo - the direction," Vilfand said, adding that the wind speed will change up to 18 meters per second.

The pressure, according to Vilfand, will drop by 25 millimeters of mercury on December 30.

• Phobos weather center specialist Alexander Sinenkov told RIA Novosti on December 27 that sharp pressure drops would come to Moscow on December 31. Sinenkov characterized them with the term "baric saw".
