The person who ordered the murder of Interior Ministry investigator Evgenia Shishkina was hacker Yaroslav Sumbaev, Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin told Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

Shishkina, who led the case of hacking Russian Railways and S7 systems , was shot dead in the fall of 2018. Before the murder, her car was burned. According to the BBC Russian Service, Sumbaev threatened the investigator and sent photos of Shishkina’s burned car to an acquaintance with the words “I’m giving hell to this bitch.”
