Aeroflot Airlines at some airports refused the services of cleaning companies and shifted the responsibility for cleaning the cabin to flight attendants. The corresponding internal document, dated January 15, was at the disposal of Meduza.
In accordance with the new rules, after boarding and disembarking passengers, flight attendants must collect the debris remaining in the cabin, including using a brush and a dustpan, as well as “check the cleanliness of the toilet rooms” and, if necessary, re-equip them.
Only in the event of the discovery of “contaminants that cannot be removed by the crew members”, flight attendants should contact the airline representative at the airport and inform him of the need to call the cleaning service.
The new rules apply on flights from Moscow to 15 Russian cities, including St. Petersburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, and Ufa.
