This ginger cat's name is Bazooka - and he's about to lose weight. In mid-January, 16-pound Bazooka was brought to a shelter in North Carolina. Two shelter employees were needed to transport him. Together they carried a heavy carrier with a cat, which they jokingly nicknamed the tiger.
As the shelter suggested, the cause of obesity could be the elderly owner, who probably forgot that he had already fed the animal. But it continued to eat.
When the shelter workers saw photographs of Bazooka, they immediately realized that they wanted to help him. According to their calculations, with the help of a special diet, the cat will lose from 9 to 11 kilograms. Probably, after losing weight, the future owners of the Bazooka will even be able to take it into the cabin of the plane (now it is twice the transportation standards - at least standard for Russia ). According to representatives of the shelter, on January 20 the cat will be taken by new owners who will monitor its weight.
By the way, if you're wondering how the cat Cinderblock , who became famous for her lazy blah-blah-bang on the treadmill, is doing, she not only lost weight, but also stopped slacking off.
