A court in Anapa has arrested Russian MMA fighter Alexander Emelianenko for seven days under the hooliganism article. This was reported by sources of TASS, Interfax and the publication Kubanskiye Novosti .
According to one of TASS's sources, Emelianenko violated public order at the Sport recreation center in the village of Supsekh near Anapa. Kubanskiye Novosti writes that the athlete was drunk and "behaved inappropriately." According to Interfax, the police are considering opening a criminal case.
Emelianenko came to Anapa for training. On April 3, he was supposed to fight Magomed Ismailov at the Absolute Championship Akhmat tournament in Moscow.
