Lukashenko wants to reduce the shares of Russian oil to 30-40%

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko set a goal to reduce the country's dependence on Russian oil to a third, BelTA writes .

"We must go to the fact that 30-40% we will buy oil in the Russian Federation. We must import 30 percent of 30 percent of 30 percent through Ukraine - the already proven path," Lukashenko at a meeting on the export of oil and oil products.

• On the eve of the Belarusian Gosmonopoly reported that the first oil from Norway will enter the country through Lithuania - 80 thousand tons. It will cost obviously more than Russian.
• The countries still do not have an agreement for the supply and transit of oil in 2020 - Russia and Belarus cannot coordinate the price.
• The President of Belarus has been talking about the need for diversification and energy independence from Russia for several years, not the news and demonstrative procurement of oil from other sources. Nevertheless, Russian oil and gas continue to make 85% of the country's energy balance.
