The priest of the Russian Orthodox Church, Archpriest Vsevolod Chaplin suddenly died on January 26 at the 52nd year of life. It is reported by Interfax with reference to parishioners.

He was the rector of the Moscow Church of St. Theodore Studit at the Nikitsky Gate. The press service of the temple confirmed information about the death of the priest.

A preliminary cause of death is a sudden cardiac arrest.

“Everything happened around 16:30. Father Vsevolod was sitting on a bench near his temple, when he suddenly became ill, he fell, and after 15 minutes the ambulance arrived, ”the agency of the temple, activist of the SERB movement, Alexander Petrunko, told the agency.
