A volunteer of the human rights project “Emergency” was searched in Ingushetia

In the village of Ekazhevo, law enforcers searched the home of a participant in the Ambulance volunteer project, which helps those arrested in connection with the protests in Ingushetia. This was announced to OVD-Info by the head of the "Ambulance" Boris Kodzoev.

“There are no details yet. We received a call from her relative, whom she informed about the search activities. Her phones and laptops were confiscated. Our man is going there,” Kodzoev said.

At the moment, it is not known what case the search is connected with. Presumably, the volunteer could attract the attention of the security forces by providing her bank card to transfer donations to those arrested. According to Fortang , the girl had previously had to communicate with law enforcement officers.

Earlier, the coordinator of the "Ambulance" Aza Khalukhaeva was called to the "E" Center. There, she was asked about the activities and goals of the volunteer group, as well as about the addresses of places where participants pack food for political prisoners.

22:35 During the search, phones, a laptop and a computer were confiscated from the ambulance participant. This was reported by the "Caucasian Knot" with reference to the Ingush activist herself.

The security forces, according to the girl, in a conversation with her stated that the "Ambulance" allegedly finances extremists, referring to the leaders of the Ingush protest, who were accused of creating an extremist community.

According to the "Caucasian Knot", law enforcement officers asked the volunteer to make a printout of transfers of funds to her card and come to the FSB department for the North Caucasian Federal District in Nalchik.

According to the publication, the security forces also told the activist to come to Nalchik without a lawyer. This is allegedly due to the fact that the last time the girl refused to testify without a lawyer, referring to Article 51 of the Constitution.

The "Caucasian Knot" also writes that a search was also held at the Memorial of Memory in Nazran, where a volunteer of the "Ambulance" and another Ingush activist Zarifa Sautieva works. However, the details of the search are currently unknown.
