Police officers in Chelyabinsk drew up a protocol against eco-activist Andrei Kostenko, who spoke at a rally against the construction of a gas pipeline under a forest. It is reported by Ural. MBKh Media” with reference to the activist himself.
Protocol under part 1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation by the organizer of the procedure for holding the action) due to the fact that Kostenko used a microphone and sound-amplifying speakers during his speech. Apparently, the use of loudspeakers was not stated in the notice for the rally.
“Sound-amplifying equipment did not interfere with anyone from the local residents, my speech with a microphone did not provoke any riots,” Kostenko told MBKh Media.
