The head of Chuvashia Mikhail Ignatiev is expelled from United Russia

The head of Chuvashia, Mikhail Ignatiev, is expelled from United Russia, said the secretary of the party council of the party Andrei Turchak. His words are given by Interfax. Last week, the politician became the hero of two major scandals at once.

On January 24, the head of Chuvashia, handing the keys to the new fire trucks to employees of the regional Ministry of Emergencies, forced the employee to jump after them like a dog.

Earlier, the head of Chuvashia called for "wet" journalists and bloggers who criticize the authorities.

On the eve of the United Russia commission on ethics unanimously recommended the Presidium of the Secretary General of the party to exclude Ignatiev from the party. The party who voiced the decision on the exclusion of the head of the region Turchak, in turn, is associated with the organization of an attempt on journalist Oleg Kashin in 2010.
