
The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Russia proposed reducing the level of subsistence minimum for citizens of the country. The department explained the proposal "by reducing the cost of products that are used in the calculation of the indicator."
According to the Ministry of Labor, last year the price of potatoes, carrots and onions decreased by more than 20%, for white cabbage - by 18.2%, for beets - by 19.6%. In this regard, it is proposed to set a living wage per capita at the level of 10 thousand 609 rubles at the end of 2019. The previous indicator was higher by 403 rubles.
At the same time, according to Rosstat, only on February last year, cabbage prices rose , and did not fall, by 8.4 percent, and they rose to the bow by 5 percent.
The Central Bank expects that in 2020, products for products as a whole will increase by at least 3.5%.
