Colleagues are surprised to ask me how I could foresee changes in the authorities when no one foresaw them, how could I write about the future celebration of universities when there were no conversations about the appointment of the minister from the rectors? Honestly, I did not foresee changes in the government, but I could not help but see the general logic of the development of events: the future is at universities, and not for scientific organizations.

It is more important to pay attention to what are the specializations of the former and current ministers. Mikhail Mikhailovich was, as his ill -wishers said, an “accountant” - a financier, who was initially set the task of dealing with the property complex of the State Academies of Sciences. The task was fulfilled, and a lawyer was replaced by the “accountant”, the main task of which will probably be the creation of a legally harmonious regulatory framework for the functioning of science and higher education. So that all interactions within our field of activity are legally competent and verified.

But, of course, the main event of January was the performance of our national leader, who announced the change in the constitution and the resignation of the government. Particular attention that Vladimir Vladimirovich pays the issues of laws, legality, his desire to develop a perfect constitution that meets the current stage of development of the country, finally helped me solve the question of which of the great historical figures of the past he is similar to. On the blessed Justinian of the Great, Byzantine Emperor, who ruled in the VI century AD.

Judge for yourself. At the end of the 5th century, the largest geopolitical disaster occurred - the fall of the Western Roman Empire. The Eastern Roman Empire was the natural successor of the Roman Empire, and Justinian the Great, acutely feeling the consequences of the geopolitical disaster, set himself the greatest task: the restoration of the Roman Empire in all its brilliance and greatness.

Colossal complexity The task required tremendous tension of forces and huge resources. Ordinary and church diplomacy, military operations, strengthening defense capabilities - the fortresses alone in the rule of Justinian were built or repaired for many hundreds - all this required money, a lot of money, a lot of money.

This was especially distinguished by the closest associate of Justinian and the architect of tax reforms, John the Cappadocian. But he was so useful for imperial business that Justinian forgave him this.

At some point, selfish residents of the capital, beaten by dark forces, openly opposed the emperor. And then Justinian demonstrated his greatness, having managed to restore the constitutional order using a limited military contingent in the shortest possible time with my iron hand.

But the grandiose achievement of Justinian, perhaps, were not even the territories from the Western barbarians in Africa and Italy, but “Corpus Juris Civilis” - a set of Roman civil law, compiled by Justinian, a working group. The great emperor understood that a truly great state should be based on the firm ground of the law. By the way, simultaneously, Justinian closed the Platonic Academy, which became the seedling of non -Christian freemen.

The parallels with the situation of the late XX - early XXI centuries with the actions of our great national leader are obvious and undeniable. The collapse of the USSR and an attempt to recreate the Great Union - Crimea is already ours! - The coming new constitution - is it worth it to list everything? Yes, Vladimir Vladimirovich understands that the law is an alpha and omega of statehood.

So it’s not in vain, it was not for nothing that we were appointed Minister of the Lawyer. Let some are afraid that in the essence of the matter he will not understand, but will only take care that everything is wise-covered with pieces of paper. But such pessimists can remind you of the Devze who came to us from the not so long centuries, which was carried out in the title, which - in relation to our conditions, can be translated as follows: “Let the world die, Long live the jurisprudence!”
