In Moscow on Belomorskaya Street, Lyudmila Khairov and Anatoly Bulatov were detained. They came to a meeting with the local authorities to discuss the cutting of a birch alley between the Streets of Festival and Belomorskaya for the construction of a residential complex. The detainees themselves and eyewitnesses themselves reported to the hotline of the OTD-info.

As the participants in the meeting explained, the developer, without warning and notifying the residents of the district, has already cut down about 300 trees and 500 shrubs in a nearby square. Residents turned to the district council and then on January 29 planned a meeting with the participation of journalists of the Russia 24 channel. The initiative group interviewed the residents of the district when they could come to the meeting regarding the prospects of the district. The day before the selected date, journalists unexpectedly abolished the meeting, but local residents, municipal deputies, representatives of the developer and independent media Sota. The police considered the meeting with local self -government an inconsistent mass event and detained two of its participants - Lyudmila Khairov and Anatoly Bulatov. Bulatov was checked by documents, and then he managed to go home.

Lyudmila Khairov was taken to the police department in the Levoberezhny district. A lawyer from the ATS-Info and the municipal deputy Viktor Grekhov came to her. Khairov was released under an obligation to draw up a protocol under an article on violation of the procedure for conducting mass events (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

Anatoly Bulatov said that at 16 o’clock a meeting with the local administration should take place. It is not known whether he will be able to get there, since the police guard Bulatov at the entrance, and he fears a second detention.
