Putin decided to pay Medvedev 618 thousand rubles for work in the Security Council

Dmitry Medvedev's salary as Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation will be 618.7 thousand rubles a month. The corresponding decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin is published on the portal of legal information.

According to RBC's calculations , Medvedev's monthly salary as prime minister at the end of 2019 was exactly the same - 618.7 thousand rubles, it rose to this amount after the first indexation of officials' salaries in four years.

• Putin in October 2019 raised the salary of himself, Medvedev and the heads of departments by 4.3%. The Bell wrote that the salary of the prime minister, based on the annual income indicated in the declaration, is about 825 thousand rubles, and after indexation it will increase by 35 thousand rubles.
• At the same time, officials in declarations indicate income, in addition to wages, it can be money from the sale of property or other assets.
