In Yekaterinburg, the court recognized the decision to arrest the former Member of the PMC illegal
The Chkalovsky District Court of Yekaterinburg canceled the decision of the justice of the peace on the arrest of the mathematician physics and the former member of the public supervisory commission (PMC) Sergey Zykov. He announced this by the OTD-Info himself.
The judge issued a decision to cancel the decision on the arrest and the termination of the administrative case "in connection with the unproven circumstances."

On January 28, 2020, the bailiffs in Yekaterinburg detained Sergey Zykov allegedly for evading compulsory work. The human rights activist was delivered to the Office of the Federal Bailiff Service, where it was drawn up for him under Part 4 of Article 20.25 (evasion of compulsory work). On the same day, the justice of the peace appointed Zykov 2 days of arrest.
The punishment of a fine to Zykov was appointed in connection with the participation in the action “He is not a king for us” on May 5, 2018. Later he was appointed 20 hours of compulsory work, considering that the human rights activist paid a fine with a delay. Zykov filed a complaint against this decision, the meeting in this case should be held on February 19, 2020.
