The person involved in the case of hooliganism due to the fire rally at the FSB has again had his article reclassified

Alexey Klimishin, a defendant in the case of hooliganism due to an action with a fire at the FSB, was again reclassified into the original version, hooliganism motivated by hatred or enmity (clause “b” of Part 1 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code). Klimishin himself told OVD-Info about this.

The case will go to trial in the next few days. Yesterday Klimishin received the results of a psychiatric examination, he was declared sane.

• The fire rally near the FSB building in Moscow took place on October 13. On this day, three people went to the FSB building on Lubyanka. One of them lit a fire as he walked and shouted “Freedom for political prisoners!” Klimishin was detained the next day, taken to the FSB building for a conversation, and then to the police.
• After the protest, a case was opened under paragraph “b” of Part 1 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code - hooliganism motivated by hatred or enmity. Later he was reclassified to a more serious offense - the same act committed by a group of persons (Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code).
