In Arkhangelsk, the court banned a rally against amendments to the Constitution

The Arkhangelsk Regional Court decided not to approve a mass picket against amendments to the Constitution because of the action of United Russia, which never took place. This is reported by Navalny's team in Arkhangelsk.

The day before, the Oktyabrsky District Court declared illegal the city administration's refusal to approve the action.

The reason for the refusal of the court of higher instance was the sociological research announced by the “Stop Drug” movement, as well as the information campaign “Youth against drugs”.

The action itself, initiated by Sergei Ponomarev, a member of the City Duma from United Russia, never took place. “The activists of our headquarters came to Lenin Square at 10:00 to see how the United Russia event was going. It was absolutely empty - there were not even police, ”the Navalny Team reports.
