Parents of the defendants in the case of the “network”, who are accused of organizing a terrorist community, wrote an open letter to Vladimir Putin with a request to pay attention to falsification in the case. The letter was published by the New Gazeta.

Parents reminded the president that on December 10, 2019, at a meeting with members of the Human Rights Council, the topic of the “network” case was raised. “They have cold and rifled weapons, grenades or a couple of grenades, and so on. These are serious things, understand? ”Putin said then.

Parents write that there is no weapon or grenades in the case, but there is a provocateur. “Who are those people who prepare information certificates in these cases, providing obviously false information and misleading you? Even you are deceived, and the whole country is looking! ”, The letter says.

According to parents, FSB officers, leading business, lie at meetings, not afraid of any responsibility. “Our appeal is the last opportunity to pay attention to the crimes committed in relation to our sons, the last opportunity to achieve justice and truth in our case, the last opportunity to prevent the repetition of the horror and pain that our sons survived,” the letter says.

In the case of the “Network” there are left -wing activists: Ilya Shakursky, Dmitry Pchelintsev, Arman Sagynbaev, Andrey Chernov, Vasily Kuksov, Viktor Filinkov, Igor Shishkin, Julius Boyarshinov, Maxim Ivankin and Mikhail Kulkov. They are accused of creating a terrorist organization "Network", which they allegedly founded to prepare a coup. Another activist Ilya Kapustin is taking place in the case as a witness.

The court sentenced Shishkin to 3.5 years in the colony. At the same time, the criminal prosecution of Yegor Zorin, whose appearance with a confession became a formal basis for initiating the case, was discontinued.

After the detention of the FSB, several defendants in the case said that the security forces tortured them, demanding confession. On the body of Filinkov and Kapustin, human rights activists recorded burns from electric shocks, but the FSB said that they did not find any evidence of the torture of anti -fascists.
