
The head of the Kerch City Council Maya Khuzhina and her deputy Larisa Shcherbula, who solemnly handed the veterans who survived the blockade of Leningrad, were dismissed by Baton of bread, RIA Novosti reported .
The decision on the outstavity of the officials was made by deputies of the city council.
“To terminate the powers of the chairman of the Kerch city council of Mai Khuzhina from February 3 in connection with the resignation of his own free will,” the decision said.
Khuzhina on January 30 on her Facebook page published a record that tells how she congratulated the blockade veterans, but later the official deleted the post. Photos from the meeting were attached to the publication. The photo shows how officials give veterans medals in velvet cases and bread wrapped in a plastic bag.
In response to criticism of officials by users, Khuzhin said about the blockade that "these people do not need gifts" and "they need human communication, kindness and respect."
The next day, the official filed a resignation, which she immediately decided to withdraw. She called the decision to dismiss the decision “momentary weakness”. The head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, called the decision of Khuzhina to withdraw a statement on the dismissal of “tyranny” and demanded that I immediately put an end to this issue. On the same day, Khuzhina re -resigned.
