The investigator asked the court to limit the time frame for Ivan Zhdanov to familiarize himself with the case about the FBK film

The investigator filed a petition with the court to limit the time limit for the director of the Anti-Corruption Foundation, Ivan Zhdanov, to familiarize himself with his criminal case in connection with the refusal to remove the film “He’s Not Dimon for You. “[The investigator] believes that we are clearly delaying our review of the case materials. Of course, I believe that this is yet another pressure on Ivan. There are nine volumes in the file, plus a large amount of information on flash drives and disks; we haven’t had time to study everything yet. And instead of giving us additional time, on the contrary, they limit us,” the publication reports the words of the lawyer.

It is not yet known how strongly the investigator demands that Zhdanov be limited in terms of familiarization. The petition will be considered on February 5 in the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow.

• In August, a criminal casewas opened against FBK director Ivan Zhdanov for failure to comply with a court decision (Part 2 of Article 315 of the Criminal Code) for refusing to remove the investigative film “He’s Not Dimon to You.” The film focuses on property, including a large amount of real estate owned by former Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
• That same summer, a criminal case was opened against FBK for laundering funds, after which on September 12, searches of supporters of Alexei Navalny and his headquarters took place in at least forty cities, according to the politician’s associates - at approximately 200 addresses. After the searches, many activists were interrogated as witnesses in the case of money laundering (Article 174 of the Criminal Code). A number of activists had their accounts worth 75 million rubles blocked.
