Petersburg: The court fined the activists of the "Party of the Dead" for a poster about free cataphals

In St. Petersburg, the court fined 20 thousand rubles to the activists of the "Party of the Dead" Maria Vonnova and Daria Logvinova. Information about this appeared in the community of the "Party of the Dead" on the social network VKontakte, writes the OVD-info.

Activists were found guilty of organizing a public event without submitting a notification. Vonnovo, Logovinov, as well as the founder of the Party Maxim Evstropov, was detained during the agreed rally against raising the fare in public transport on December 8, 2019.

From the materials of the case it follows that activists were detained for using attributes in the form of a skull and a black flag, as well as posters "lying underground cheaper than traveling", "Governor underground" and "Officials Free Disabaches".

Activists intend to appeal the decision in the city court of St. Petersburg, since the district ignored all the arguments of the defense, including the lack of sufficient evidence and violations of the police.
