The Memorial Human Rights Center, citing residents of the village of Gekhi, Urus-Martan District, reported the abduction of four residents of Chechnya. The information is published on the organization's website.
Local residents said that on February 5, at about ten in the evening, unknown persons pushed four young people - Movsar Vakhaev, Abdulla Zairaev, Zelimkhan Kulaev and Akhmed Sataev - into two cars (one of them looked like a taxi) and drove away.
Relatives, according to Memorial, contacted the police. The Human Rights Center writes that witnesses filmed the abduction of Zairaev and Vakhaev on their phones, but this video has not yet been published. “Those who filmed it don’t want to publish it yet. They’re afraid,” Oleg Orlov, head of the “Hot Spots” program, told Mediazona.
