Vladimir Putin has appointed Dmitry Makhonin as acting governor of the Perm Territory, according to the Kremlin website.

Previously, Makhonin served as head of the department for regulating the fuel and energy complex in the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia, writes . Kommersant

The previous governor of the region resigned on January 21: Maxim Reshetnikov headed the Ministry of Economic Development, he has been in charge of the Perm Territory since 2017.

• Dmitry Makhonin is 37 years old, he began working in the structures of the FAS in 2004, immediately after graduating from the university.
