In Kurgan, police found no signs of wrongdoing in the publication of a video about the local governor

The Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kurgan Region has completed verification of the publication of local blogger Ilya Vinshtein, in which he posted a video about Governor Vadim Shumakov. This is reported by the publication Znak.

The police did not find "signs of a crime or an administrative offense," Znak clarifies with reference to the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs.

On October 22, 2019, Winshtein published a satirical video entitled "Closed meeting in Shumakov's office." After 2 days, the blogger was interrogated at the E Center, and then law enforcement officers seized his computer and began checking in the wake of the publication.
