Former Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Gordeev, who oversaw the agriculture in Medvedev’s government, will become the vice speaker of the State Duma.

Gordeev will receive the mandate of the State Duma deputy Gennady Kulik, who goes to work as an adviser to the Chairman of the Lower Chamber, was confirmed today by the deputy chairman of the State Duma, the head of the United Russia faction Sergey Nevorov.
