The Kalinigrad court terminated another administrative case against "eco -protection!"

The Moscow District Court of Kaliningrad terminated the administrative case against the organization “Eco -Protection!”, Elena Pershakova, lawyer of the Public Verdict, told Mediazone.

In November 2018, ecologists were fined 10 thousand rubles for non -compliance with the legal order of the Ministry of Justice (part 1 of Article 19.5 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), which required “Eco -Protection!” Provide reports on the activities of a “foreign agent”.

Today, the Kaliningrad court considered that "Eco -Protection!" I did not receive any order and was not subsequently informed about the preparation of the administrative protocol on its non -fulfillment. At the same time, environmentalists received the court ruling on the appointment of a fine only in September 2019.

At the end of January, the same court abolished another fine of one hundred thousand rubles, which ecologists were appointed for failure to provide reports on their activities. Based on this and other fines against the director of "Eco -Protection!" Alexandra Koroleva opened five criminal cases of malicious non -fulfillment of the court decision (part 2 of Article 315 of the Criminal Code).

As Pershakova told Mediazone, in a few years to “Eco -Protection!” At least 26 administrative protocols were drawn up. The total amount of fines imposed on the organization exceeded two million rubles.
