The performance will end with the burning of an art object in the form of a large bridge from dried.
The Maslenitsa program-2020 is published on the website of the art park "Nikola-Lenivts" .
“This year, the performance will last all day as one big performance,” the organizers report. “The final scene is a burning, before which, like men from Brueghel’s paintings, we will go along the bridge to start a fiery carnival in which all the guests of the Nikola-Lenivtsa will take part.”

In 2019, for the first time, an open international competition was held to create the best concept of an art object for Shrovetide, in which 174 projects from different countries from Ecuador to France and Poland participated. The winner of the competition was the project “Burning bridges” of the St. Petersburg Architectural Bureau Katarsis .
The construction of an art object in the form of a large bridge began at the end of December and will end on the eve of the celebration of Shrovetide. The bridge is built from a dumb, damaged by a beetle, spoiled pallets from the production of the Kaluga region, straw and wooden construction waste. The height of the object is 20 m, the length is 54 m.
