The World Court in Moscow fined Twitter and Facebook companies in the amount of 4 million rubles each for refusing to transfer servers with data of Russian users to Russia, reports . RIA Novosti
There were no representatives of Roskomnadzor or lawyers of organizations at the trial. The court decision was based on documents according to which companies collected personal information (names, surnames, dates of birth) of Russian users. However, the recording and systematization of these data was carried out without the use of databases on the territory of Russia (part 8 of article 13.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
