In 2012, graphic designer Zhenya Baryany moved to St. Petersburg from Moscow. At first, the girl worked in printing, but in 2017 quit, finished ceramics courses and began to create cups, plates and brooches with vulvs.
According to Zhenya, she fell in love with ceramics while traveling to Lisbon, and the name of the brand “lady” appeared due to the fact that one of her older relatives called this word to Vulva.

In an interview with The Village, the girl said that she creates approximately 50-100 products per month, including ordinary dishes-from plates to VAZ. At the same time, according to Zhenya, it is precisely the cups with the vulvs, which cost from 1.6 thousand rubles, are popular.

“With the help of cups, I try to draw people's attention to the importance of such things as reciprocity, sexual education, acceptance of myself and my body, safety and awareness of responsibility,” says Zhenya.
