In Karelia, a kindergarten on Leningradskaya Street will be repaired for 1.5 million rubles due to the threat of collapse. Two years ago, a major overhaul was completed in the building, on which 76 million rubles were spent from the local budget.

The new company will have to fix the shortcomings that the previous contractor left. The kindergarten should be repaired in two months.

The overhaul of kindergarten was completed in March 2018. A month after the opening, the kindergarten was first closed due to the "technical shortcomings" that "it was impossible to foresee." In November 2018, the institution was again closed due to the possible collapse of the roof. About 200 pupils were transferred to other kindergartens of Petrozavodsk. Parents said that the translation of children was sudden for managers of other children's institutions.
