The Constitution of Russia not only does not work as a direct action law (and where are all our freedoms - words, meetings, religion?), But it does not interfere with the adoption of laws that rudely violate human rights in their letter.

For example, such wild, monstrous deadlines to the defendants in the case of a “network” - children who did not do anything - became possible strictly according to the letter of the law. Thanks to the new articles of the Criminal Code: 205.3 "Passing training in order to carry out terrorist activities", 205.4 "Organization of the terrorist community and participation in it", and 205.5 "Organization of the activities of a terrorist organization and participation in the activities of such an organization." Exactly in the twentieth year of the life of the Constitution, which proclaimed a person the highest value of the country, articles appeared in the Criminal Code by which you can send to prison anyone who planned something there. Try to prove that you did not plan.

Another example. There is a 49th article of the Constitution, which suggests that no person can be found guilty without a court sentence, and no one can be punished without guilt. And according to the letter, the investigator’s decisions are enough to attract “extremist” articles as a suspect in a number of “extremist”. Another awkward, but truly folk topic: criminal liability for re -driving in a state of intoxication. About what it is for at all. What is the meaning of the state, which we, the multinational Russian people, decided to establish. Why is it to us.

The Americans are simple. What is the meaning of the Russian state? Why do we all live together under the same law and in single borders?

It seems to me that it is useless to rule or protect the constitution, beyond which there is no understandable, common and valuable idea for all. Our common dreams. The very image of the future. Are we here, connected by a common fate on our land, we live only in order to proud of history, to defend our borders and protect the homeland from the enemy? Constantly look for (and find) more and more new enemies, both around the perimeter and within the country?

What is the point? If you know for sure the answer, it is not so important what words to write it down. Understanding and feeling the spirit of the Basic Law is more important than knowing its letter by heart.

Let, for example, this meaning will be happiness. Each individual person and each individual family. Then the judge will not send a 19-year-old guy for six and a half years to prison for a picket . The Ministry of Health will not interfere with the import of foreign medicines to help domestic pharmaceutical companies. The governor will not close the district hospital when there are no normal roads and sanitation. Yes, a lot of what evil can be avoided if you keep a simple goal in my head: let us all be happiness. Man, his rights and freedoms are the highest value.
