According to the activist, Basevich’s house can be preserved and restored in its form. “Technologies allow you to have a desire,” Litvinov said. He also expressed the hope that the project, which implies the demolition of the building, will be revised and the house will be able to save.

Issahar Basevich’s apartment building on Bolshaya Pushkarskaya Street was built in 1912 according to the project of architect Alexei Zasorsky. The construction company SETL CITY plans to build in its place to build apartments for artists of the Academy of Dance Boris Eifman.
