The head of the Accounts Chamber, Alexei Kudrin, promised to check the effectiveness of measures to organize medical care of HIV-infected citizens. He made such a statement on Twitter, commenting on the documentary of Yuri Dudia about the problem of HIV spread in Russia.

Compare with coronavirus. This year the Accounts Chamber will analyze the effectiveness of measures to organize medical care #HIV -infected with 2018," he said.

According to the head of the Accounts Chamber, the immunodeficiency virus poses a more serious threat to Russia than coronavirus. According to official figures, 1 million people with HIV live in the country.
