- Since 2014, the amount of affairs about espionage and gosmen in our country has grown several times. Identification of the internal enemies of the state is one of the most effective psychological instruments for inciting "Hurray-patriotism" among the masses.

Russian legislation is arranged in such a way that the composition of GOSTAINA is a state. This makes it possible to make charges with ease. A criminal case can be absurd, but this is not an obstacle for the conviction on it. Unfortunately, the law enforcement system is arranged in Russia, but we do our best to change it.

In 2018, “Team 29” published a report “History of state treason, espionage and state secrets in modern Russia”. In the process of its preparation, judicial statistics and practice in cases of Stateismman, espionage, disclosure of GOSTIANA for 1997-2017 were investigated. We relied on the data of the Judicial Department of the Supreme Court, examined more than 300 publications in the media, more than 50 cases of cases on the sites of regional, regional and district courts, the Supreme Court website and in the GAS "Justice" system, we took 22 interviews from convicts, their relatives and lawyers.

Since 1997, when the new Criminal Code was introduced in Russia, about 100 people were convicted of the Stateismman (Article 276 of the Criminal Code) (Article 276 of the Criminal Code) (96 according to the judicial department, 101 - in the media and other open sources). These figures are several times smaller than those called President Vladimir Putin. For example, he reported that only in 2017 the activities of 72 personnel employees and 397 agents of foreign special services were suppressed.

The secrecy of the cases of state reception and espionage gives the investigation, prosecution and the court additional opportunities for violations: closed courts - all meetings in such cases are held closed, which violates the right of the accused to a fair trial; Secret materials - at least 10 cases, the investigation illegally classified documents in the case or founded the charge on secret orders with which the defense prohibited to get acquainted; Limiting the rights of a lawyer - if there is a state of guest in the case, they do not allow protection to work with either secret or unexpected materials; The restriction on the dissemination of information - at least 13 cases, the investigation recommended that the accused or their relatives not betray the case of publicity; Courts hide the cards of "secret" cases on sites.

Without a tolerance, a person cannot know that the secret and what is not. About a quarter of the convicts for the Stateizer - at least 21 people - had no admission to GOSTYNA. 48 cases were initiated in relation to military personnel or employees of special services, 17 cases in relation to scientists.
