The defendant of "Moscow business" Andrei Barshay was appointed 3 years conditionally

The Meshchansky District Court found the defendant of the “Moscow case”, the 21-year-old student of the MAI Andrei Barnei, and awarded him three years in prison with a trial period of three years. This was reported by a member of the ATS-Info Nikolai Sizikov from the courtroom.

The court took into account the situation in the family of Barky, his chronic disease, the absence of aggravating or mitigating circumstances and imposed a punishment not related to imprisonment.

The barsh was accused of allegedly pushing the employee of the Russian Guard in the back during the action on July 27 (part 1 of article 318 of the Criminal Code). The victim of the Russian Guard Alexander Kozlov said that he had no complaints about Barshai and asked the court to limit himself to a conditional term. The prosecution requested 3.5 years in the colony.

The consideration of the case ended in two days. Most of the defense petitions - lawyers Svetlana Baiturina and Grigory Chervonny - rejected the judge. Barshay and his defenders in court dismantled the episode on July 27, 2019 at the intersection of Christmas and theater passage at the Children's World, which became the reason for initiating a criminal case. The lawyer of Baiturin drew the attention of the court that the physical pain of the victim is confirmed only by his testimony.

First of all, I would like not in writing, but to personally apologize. Alexander Alekseevich, I would like to apologize for my act, I was wrong. I would also like to add that over the past four months of imprisonment, I lost a lot of things in life. What I acquired inspires me with fear. It is known that prisons are not treated with us, but cripple. I am scared for myself.
