When in 1877 in St. Petersburg the mayor Trepov ordered to tear the political prisoners of Bogolyubov, this was perceived by society as a slap in the face: Treov spat on the law - in 1863, bodily punishments in Russia were canceled. How great the insult was, it is evident not so much that Vera Zasulich shot at Trepova, but from the fact that the jury justified her, and the comrade of the prosecutor Zhukovsky not only refused to be the prosecutor in her case, but later moved to work in the bar. I would give a lot to see one of the prosecutors who have retrained into defenders for ideological consideration-so as not to participate in an unrighteous court.

When on February 10, the court in Penza sentenced the seven anti -fascists who were held in the case of the “network”, by huge terms of 18 to 6 years, not for the case, but for the intentions that the investigators attributed to them, this sentence, as it turned out, is also perceived by society as a slap. Otherwise, 560 people would not have come to the pickets to Lubyanka instead of the usual five and would not have agreed on independent bookstores throughout the country about the “book strike” - on February 17, they did not work in protest against an unlawful sentence. Yes, there were only 15 such stores, but the point is not among. The culture is on symbols: the Ephesians did not have to knock out the confession in the case of the “network” - the organization that they themselves came up with themselves - they would have put the guys like this: after all, they accused a couple of spouses from Kaliningrad for a gosmen for the fact that the friend, having walked at their wedding, raised everything that he was from the FSB, and was photographed with everyone. After all, scientists are planted for the Stateizer, when they share materials from open sources with Western colleagues. No wonder our Oberiuts came up with absurdity to Ionesko and Beckett. More precisely, they did not come up with - they recorded what was in the air.

When the absurdity is implemented, it turns into a neuro-paralytic substance that kills logic. And then in Moscow the restaurant and the metro are absent from a considerable money for the missed benefit from people who went to the protest campaign - because everyone was busy with protest and did not go dinner and did not go to the subway. And in Penza, the judge, without blushing, reads in the verdict in the case of the “network” that the accused declared torture to discredit FSB officers. And all this is not just the manifestations of the absurd, these are the bright signs of the power of the security forces that tell us: we will do everything we want with you, we will affirm any ridiculous accusation, we will torture you as much as we ours, and nothing will be for us. You are our food, a way of obtaining awards and ranks, and whoever will grow cloken - we will eat it faster.

So, 15 bookstores answered this sign - with their sign: they announced a “book strike”, decided not to work one day and instead standing in pickets against the cannibal sentence in the “network” case. In St. Petersburg, 3 stores participated in it - “everyone is free” , “Fahrenheit 451” and “Word Order” . Employees of 2 more stores - “signature publications” and “miracles” - decided to transfer salaries for the relatives of the convicts for February 17. The meaning of the action can be read on the site “everything is free”, everyone is invited to think “do we live correctly”: “Perhaps“ our education ”, what we consider the meaning of our professional existence, do not need at all and we only hide our laziness and indifference? How can you sell bright, eternal, kind books, when people are torture?” One of the founders of the intellectual literature store “The Word Order” Konstantin Shavlovsky himself stood at the door of his store for several hours and distributed leaflets with information about the “network” case. According to him, he cannot otherwise. This is the only thing he can do in his place is to close the store, and to explain to customers to explain why the door is closed. When Konstantin and I said, he stood for two hours and was going to stand yet - until it freezes completely.

The owners of the bookstores considered the verdict to Dmitry Pchelintsev, Ilya Shakursky, Andrei Chernov, Maxim Ivankin, Mikhail Kulkov, Vasily Kuksov and Arman Sagynbaeva - the verdict of the bright humanistic ideas that are contained in books lying on store regiments. And possibly the books themselves. Do you think this is an exaggeration? But, by the way, few people noticed one ominous detail: the Volga District Military Court decided not only to send the guys to the bars, but also to burn as a “means of committing a crime” that they found “capital” Karl Marx. And at the same time, the textbook on anatomy, the GRU special forces textbook, books on anarchism and a guide to shooting affairs. That is, along with broken fates, we also have a small bonfire of books - does not remind you? This is also a sign - which is most likely submitted, unconsciously, in the load on the rest of the set: torture, fabricated business, dungeons, burning books. At the same time, they tortured anarchists and anti-fascists, but where do they actually try to try anti-fascists? And then there’s nothing to be done, we all watched “17 moments”, and the memory instantly suggests - in the Gestapo.

And the light lights up in the brain - danger! The case of the “network” clearly says to anyone who is capable of compiling at least a short logical chain - you are in danger. In addition to aversion to lies and violence, in addition to conscience and compassion, the instinct of self -preservation is included. Because the “network” really exists - just not the “network” that the FSB was invented to cut down the stars and grandmas on the blood of the boys, this is a network of security forces who are ready to overshadow to the death of any sake of imitation of activity, throw drugs when there are not enough “sticks” in the statistics of disclosed crimes, squeeze the business, crush the products in the country, where there are 20 million poor ones, and live up books. Because we are all covered with this network, and the longer we are silent, the stronger it is.

That is why 15 bookstores were closed to a “book strike” against the sentence in the “network” case, which is why letters with a demand for a revision of the sentence were written not only by human rights activists, but also by students, and graduate students of universities, and 2,700 scientists who directly called the act of terror, and 170 filmmakers, who declared that the victims of the unrighteous sentence, namely the “aspiration of the investigation In any, even illegal way, to prove the crime, the willingness to use threats, torture and provocations, a tendency to accuse without a real crime event ... - this is a real threat to society, the state and every citizen. ” That is why about a hundred St. Petersburg municipal deputies, about 3 thousand journalists and writers, more than a hundred artists and gallerymen, demanded the torture investigations, which was 243 psychologists demanded that the situation is “a shock for Russian citizens” and “creates the conditions for the violence, inhibition and formation of dangerous mental problems in our society”, and 844 teachers, and 844 teachers were demanded. They considered the verdict in the case of the “network” “by the sentence to all of us, our work and our hopes for a bright future.” That is why Konstantin Kinchev dedicated the song “Air” to be sentenced - because if this sentence stands, then the air will end.

In 1826, Tsar Nicholas I sent a student Alexander Polezhaev by a non-commissioned officer in the army-for the youthful poem “Sashka”, just criticizing university orders. Then Polezhaev was unclenched into soldiers, spent a year in chains and shackles in an earthen prison, underwent bodily punishment and died in a military hospital in 33 years. And the king continued to take care of the eradication of free -thinking, seeing the power of the state in this - and led the country to defeat in the Crimean war. And then another poet, Alexander Galich, wrote the “Hussar song”, in which Polezhaev rides “Himself in the Seredochka, / two gendarmes on the sides”. And now we all ended up in this very middle core - and we already know where the country enters when such a ride begins.

Therefore, I really hope that the protest against torture and the unlawful sentence will continue: this poison has the only medicine - solidarity.
