On February 18, the Paris prosecutor's office charged the invasion of private life to the Russian actor artist Peter Pavlensky. On February 14, on his website, a sex video with the participation of a candidate for the mayor of Paris Benjam Grivo laid out on his website and provoked a political crisis. The candidate withdrew from the elections, while the press and most French politicians, including opponents, supported Grivo, not a Russian artist.
