Vorkuta residents chose a festive mood

The inhabitants of Vorkuta asked not to clean the New Year spruce on the main square of the city until March 8. An anonymous survey on his page on the VKontakte social network was published by the mayor of Vorkuta Igor Guryev.

Local residents were asked when it is better to remove the tree: after March 8 or after February 23. Most of the voters asked to leave the spruce until March 8.

“The later, the better ... let the holiday continue,” Elena Ivanitskaya writes in the comments on the record. Another user of social networks Ekaterina Vedeneeva offers not to clean the spruce as long as possible, since winter in Vorkuta "will not leave until May."

The inhabitants of Vorkuta could be left without spruce for the New Year holidays. The artificial tree was bought with budget money, but the customer provided a spruce of poor quality. Residents of the village of Zapolyarny in Vorkuta faced a similar problem. The mayor of the city Igor Guryev apologized for the poor -quality product.
