In the Primorsky Territory, the mayor of Artyom, Alexander Avdeev, wrote a statement about the dismissal after numerous complaints of the townspeople of his work. This was reported by Interfax - Far East, citing governor Oleg Kozhemyako.

According to the head of the region, the resignation decision was made "following meetings that once again confirmed that the population did not perceive the work of the head positively, but in a negative context."

Kozhemyako noted that Artyom is a rather large district where more than 120 thousand people live. At meetings with residents, it turned out that a number of problems, including related to the instructions of the governor, are not resolved. The most significant issues relate to the life support of people, problems with water supply, housing construction, energy supply, and improvement.

Vyacheslav Kvon, who headed the administration of the Primorsky city of Spassk-Dalniy, will act as the head of Artem.

Alexander Avdeev worked for 10 years in the administration of Artem. In 2015, he became the acting head of the city district, and in 2016-the head of the administration.
