Two Irkutski on board "Diamond Princess" found coronavirus

Two residents of Irkutsk, located on the Kruyznaya Liner "Diamond Princess" in the port of Jokogama, diagnosed coronavirus infection. This was reported by the Russian Embassy in Japan. In the near future they will be taken to the hospital. Earlier it became known about one case of infection of a Russian citizen aboard the vessel.

Koronavirus was discovered from 71-year-old Valery Z. from Irkutsk, but his 68-year-old wife Natalya was also hospitalized due to the risk of infection. Natalia was hospitalized the day after her husband to the Kanagawa Prefecture Prefecture, Valery is located in the AII Prefecture Hospital. The sick Russians feel normally. The disease proceeds in them without pronounced symptoms, the Russian embassy on Facebook said in a statement.

As of February 20, the liner, which was on quarantine from behind the coronavirus, left four more Russians. In total, there were 24 Russian citizens on the ship.

Today, it became known about the death from the coronavirus infection of two Japanese citizens hospitalized with Diamond Princess about a week ago. Patients were older than 80 years old, the Japanese authorities said.
