Petrozavodsk City Council deputy Alexander Anishin apologized to local residents, whom he called “another piece of shit” and “idlers” for criticizing the head of Karelia, Artur Parfenchikov. about this Anishin wrote on his VKontakte page.
According to the deputy, “controversial statements” regarding the demolition of the monument to Petrozavodsk defender Yasha Stepanov caused him “extremely negative emotions.” Anishin says that he wanted to protect the work of the people who worked on the creation of the museum headquarters of the Karelian Front.
“Of course, succumbing to the will of emotions, I made impartial and unacceptable statements. I want to apologize for my words, which could inadvertently offend someone,” the deputy wrote.
