On February 21, the Zheleznovodsk City Court of the Stavropol Territory sentenced Dzhokhar Aliev, a participant in protests against changing the borders of Ingushetia, to a year and eight months in a colony-settlement. It is reported by MBH Media.

Aliyev was found guilty under the article on the use of violence against a representative of the authorities (part 1 of article 318 of the Criminal Code). According to the investigation, he threw stones and chairs at the policemen during a national gathering on March 26-27, 2019 in Magas.

Dzhokhar Aliyev does not consider himself a participant in the protest. “There is a sports complex next to that square. On March 26, I competed in mixed martial arts. Took first place.
