The Swedes once again won the World Bandy Championship

In Oslo, Norway, the Russian women's team lost in the decisive match of the Bandy World Championship to the Swedish team with a score of 1:3. As part of our team, Diana Lipanova (56') scored the only goal, while Matilda Plan (7', 47') and Emma Ahlander (66') scored for the Swedes.

The final was the second meeting of the teams at the tournament; at the group stage, our rivals also won (3:2), who became world champions for the ninth time.

In the match for bronze medals, the Norwegian team defeated the Finnish team - 6:1.

The Women's Bandy World Championship has been held since 2004, and since 2008 the tournament has been held every two years. In the finals of the tournament, the national teams of Russia and Sweden met each time. The Russians are the champions of 2014, all other finals were won by Swedish hockey players.
