
The French team took first place in the men's relay race at the Biathlon World Cup in the Italian Antholz. The winners at a distance of 4x7.5 km showed the result of 1 hour 12 minutes 35.9 seconds, without running a single penalty circle and using four additional cartridges on eight firing lines.

Earlier, the Norwegian women's team won 4x6 km relay race, overcoming the distance in 1 hour 7 minutes 5.7 seconds (one penalty circle and 9 additional cartridges).
The second place was taken by the German team (+10.7), Ukrainians won bronze medals (+18.4). The Russian quartet - Ekaterina Yurlova -Permch, Irina Starykh, Svetlana Mironova and Larisa Kuklin - took eighth place (+1.02.6; 1+11).
