In October, Ekaterina Serebrennikova went to an ultrasound in the antenatal clinic in Kaliningrad and accidentally noticed that she was under the supervision of not only a doctor. A video camera hung right above the couch, which impassively fixed everything that happens in the office.

There are no shirs in the office. In fact, you lie naked opposite the camera,” the girl wrote on her Instagram page.

Returning home, Serebrennikova left a complaint on the website of the regional government. The complaint was sent to the regional Ministry of Health, who gave the patient the answer: the gynecologist’s office is a public place, which means that the video surveillance there is legal.
