A designer who was broken by a leg during a run before the action on July 27, was fined

The Savelovsky District Court of Moscow fined designer Konstantin Konovalov for 10 thousand rubles, who, during the detention before the action on July 27, broke his leg. This was reported on the Twitter of Judicial Translations "MBH Media".

Konovalov was found guilty under the article on participation in an inconsistent mass event (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). Earlier, the same court had already fined the designer for the same amount, but in January the Moscow City Court canceled this decision and sent the case for a review.

Konovalov in all his testimonies, including in today's court, stated that on July 27 he made a morning run. He also noted that he lives next to Tverskaya Street and often runs along it.

So, while he ran past the city hall’s building, the fighters of the Russian Guard shouted him and thought that he was running away from them. Then he was roughly detained and broken. Konovalov took more than three months to treat the legs. Lawyer Fedor Sirosh asked the court to terminate the case, as there is no corpus delicti (the designer ran past the city hall a few hours before the start of the action).

On June 8, the Moscow City Court upheld the decision on the fine of Konovalov, writes Apology of Protest.
